Chunky pork and chorizo burgers
These lean and meaty burgers have a fantastic spicy kick
Serves 4
Ready in 1 hour, 30 minutes
Ingredients
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 100g Asda chorizo, diced
  • 1 eating apple, coarsely grated
  • 500g pack Asda pork mince
  • 2 roasted red peppers (from a jar), finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, deseeded and diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cucumber, diced
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • 4 Asda burger buns, split and toasted
  • 4tbsp Asda low-fat natural yogurt
  • Fresh mixed salad leaves, to serve
Method
1 Heat the oil in a nonstick frying pan, then fry the chorizo for 3 minutes until lightly brown. Turn into a bowl, add the apple, pork and roasted red pepper, and mix with your hands. Chill for an hour.

2 Shape into 4 burgers and cook under a medium-hot grill for 8 to 10 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Meanwhile, mix together the tomatoes, onion, cucumber and lime. Put a burger in each bun, top with the yogurt and salsa and serve with mixed salad leaves.
