Oriental tuna
An Asian-style fish dish
Serves 4
Ready in 25 minutes
Ingredients
  • 2 x 200g packs Asda tuna steak
  • 4tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 3tbsp dry sherry or cider vinegar
  • 2tbsp soft brown sugar
  • 2tbsp sunflower oil
  • 4tsp sesame seeds
  • 700g pack Asda Smart Price Family Stir-fry Vegetables
  • 125ml pouch Asda Lemon Stir-fry Sauce

Method
1 Put the tuna steaks in a shallow dish in a single layer. Mix together the soy sauce, sherry or vinegar, brown sugar and 1tbsp oil. Pour over the tuna and turn to coat on both sides. Leave for 10 minutes, turning halfway through.

2 Heat a griddle until very hot. Griddle the fish for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.

3 Meanwhile, gently dry fry the sesame seeds in a wok or large frying pan until golden. Set aside. Heat the rest of the oil in the wok and stir-fry the vegetables for 5 minutes. Add the stir-fry sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute. Sprinkle the tuna with the sesame seeds and serve with the vegetables.
