Ingredients
- 1 ripe mango, peeled, stoned and chopped
- juice of 1 orange
- 2 ripe, firm pears or apples
- 2 firm bananas
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1tsp Asda honey
- half a pineapple, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 nectarines, stoned and thickly sliced
- 8 physalis (cape gooseberries), to decorate
Method
1 Soak 8 wooden skewers in cold water to prevent them burning under the grill.
2 Place the chopped mango in a food processor or blender with half the orange juice and blend until smooth.
3 Core and thickly slice the pears or apples and the banana and place in the lemon juice to prevent them from going brown.
4 Stir the honey into the remaining orange juice. Thread the fruit onto the skewers and brush with the honey and orange juice mixture
5 Grill the kebabs for 3 to 4 minutes. Serve warm with the mango coulis and a couple of physalis to decorate.
