Ingredients
- 10g butter
- 40g Asda short grain pudding rice
- 40g granulated sugar
- 600ml whole milk
- 0.25tsp freshly grated nutmeg
Method
1 Preheat the oven to 150C/Gas 2. Grease an ovenproof dish with a little of the butter.
2 Put the rice and sugar in the dish, then pour in the milk. Dot any leftover butter on top.
3 Cook for 30 minutes. Stir and sprinkle on the nutmeg. Return to the oven and cook, without stirring, for another 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Serve hot or cold.
