Tangy apple brings out the sweetness of juicy pork dishes.

Ingredients
- 2 Asda pork chops
- 50g butter, for frying
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 0.25tsp Asda dried sage
- 1 dessert apple, cored and quartered
- 0.5tsp sugar
Method
1 Trim the rind on the chops and snip the fat at intervals down towards the meat - this will stop the chops from curling up when you fry them.
2 Heat half the butter and all the oil in a frying pan over a moderate heat. Season the chops and sprinkle with sage. Fry the chops for 6 to 8 minutes a side, until cooked through. Keep warm.
3 Heat the remaining butter in the pan. When it's foaming, add the apples and sugar. Fry until golden brown. Serve with the chops.
