A simple snack made special

Ingredients
- 3 medium red onions, thinly sliced
- 8 Asda Butcher’s Best pork and mustard sausages
- 25g soft light brown sugar
- 1tbsp red wine vinegar
- 8 slices thick-cut bread
- Plus 2tbsp olive oil, and wholegrain mustard
Method
1 Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add the onions. Cook gently for 30 minutes. Meanwhile heat the rest of the oil and cook the sausages over a low heat for 30 minutes, until they’re browned.
2 Stir the sugar and vinegar into the onions and cook on a high heat for 2 minutes.
3 Slice the sausages, sandwich between the slices of bread, adding onions and mustard.
