Garlic butterfly prawns
Don’t marinate the prawns for more than an hour or they will start to

Ingredients
  • 2 garlic cloves, very finely chopped
  • 1 red chilli, deseeded and very finely chopped
  • Pinch Chinese five spice powder
  • 2tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 125g pack Asda raw tiger prawns

Method
1 Mix together the garlic, chilli, Chinese five spice powder, olive oil and lime juice in a shallow, non-metallic dish. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and add the prawns. Mix well to coat all the prawns, then cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour.

2 Meanwhile, soak eight wooden skewers in cold water for 20 minutes. Preheat the grill to high. Thread the prawns on to the skewers, four on each, and grill for 2 to 3 minutes each side, until completely cooked through, brushing with the leftover marinade during cooking.
