Sage and onion stuffing
A true family favourite

Ingredients
  • 55g butter
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 2tbsp chopped fresh sage
  • 400g Asda Extra Special pork sausagemeat
  • 225g fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium egg, beaten

Method
1 Melt the butter in a pan and gently fry the onions for 10 minutes. Add the sage and cook for 1 minute. Leave to cool.

2 In large bowl, mix the pork with the crumbs. Add the cooled onions and the egg. Stuff your turkey with the mixture or roll into 18 balls.

3 For the balls, preheat the oven to 200C/Gas 6. Put 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a large roasting pan and heat in the oven. Add balls and cook for 30 to 40 minutes until brown.
