Quick roast pork
Serves 6

Ingredients
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 50g butter
  • 2 Asda Good for you! pork fillets
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 300ml Asda dry cider
  • 1 bayleaf
  • 2 dessert apples, cored and cut into wedges
  • 1tbsp caster sugar
  • 1tbsp Asda Good for you! crème fraîche

Method
1 Preheat the oven to 180C/Gas 4. Heat oil and half the butter in a frying pan, brown the fillets all over and put in a casserole dish.

2 Gently fry the onion until softened and golden. Add the cider, bring to the boil and carefully pour over the pork. Add the bayleaf, then season. Cover and roast for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the apples in the remaining butter and sugar until golden. Keep warm.

3 Carefully remove the pork and onion with a slotted spoon. Discard the bayleaf. Boil the liquid until syrupy, then stir in the crème fraîche. Slice the pork thickly and serve with the onions, sauce and apples.
