Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 100g caster sugar
- 50g demerara sugar
- 1 large egg
- 250g self raising flour
- 100g Asda pine nuts
Method
1 Preheat the oven to 180C/Gas 4. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Beat the butter and both sugars together until creamy. Beat in the egg, then add the flour and pine nuts. Mix with your hands to make a dough, distributing the pine nuts evenly.
2 Shape into 20 walnut-size pieces and put on the baking trays, leaving them room to spread. Flatten with a fork and bake for 12 minutes. Leave to cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack until completely cold.
