For a gem of a breakfast, serve this jammy delight.

Ingredients
- 4 thick slices white or brown bread
- 4tbsp strawberry jam
Method
1 Toast the bread under a medium-hot grill until golden on one side. Place the bread, toasted side down, on a board.
2 Using cutters, mark out 5 shapes in the toast - make sure you don't cut all the way through. Remove the top layer of bread to make a base for the jam.
3 Spoon the jam into the holes, then return the toast to the grill for 1 minute or until it's golden. Transfer to a plate. Try other jams for different colours - blackcurrant, apricot and lemon curd all work well.
