Edam and apple pittas
A savoury, crunchy snack that’s light and healthy
Serves 2
Preparation time 10 minutes
Ingredients
  • 40g Dutch Edam
  • 25g cucumber
  • 1 small Gala apple, quartered and cored
  • 2tbsp Asda salad cream
  • 1 wholemeal pitta bread
Shop online for these ingredients
Method
1 Preheat the grill. Cut the cheese, cucumber and apple into small cubes, then mix together with the salad cream.

2 Sprinkle the pitta on both sides with a few drops of water. Grill for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until it puffs up. Cut in half to make two pockets, fill with the cheese mixture and serve.
