ASDA Recipes
Salmon and cod cobbler
Serve with new potatoes and boiled vegetables

Ingredients
  • 240g Asda salmon fillet, skinned and cut into chunks
  • 300g Asda cod fillet, skinned and cut into chunks
  • 4tbsp fresh Asda parsley, chopped
  • 300g can white wine and cream cooking sauce
  • 250g plain flour
  • Large pinch of salt
  • 50g cold butter, cubed
  • 125ml milk

Method
1 Preheat oven to 190C/Gas 5. Mix fish and 2 tablespoons parsley with the cooking sauce. Transfer to an ovenproof dish.

2 Sift the flour into a bowl with the salt. Rub in the cold butter until the mixture starts to resemble fine breadcrumbs. Stir in the remaining parsley and milk to form a dough.

3 Roll out on a floured surface to a thickness of 2cm and cut out 12 scones using a 4cm cutter. Arrange scones around the edge of the dish. Brush with milk and bake for 25 minutes until topping turns golden.
