Lemon pasta
Suitable for vegetarians
Creamy with a citrus twist
Serves 4
Preparation time 15 minutes
Ingredients
  • 350g Asda farfalle
  • 500g Asda frozen peas
  • Grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 200g Asda Good for you! Soft and Creamy Cheese with Onion and Chive
  • 100ml single cream
  • 3tbsp fresh Asda basil, shredded

Method
1 Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling water for about 10 minutes. Add the frozen peas, return to the boil and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until the pasta is just tender. Drain, return to the warm pan and stir in the lemon zest and juice.

2 Meanwhile, put the soft cheese and single cream in a small pan, season and stir over a low heat until the cheese melts and the mixture is piping hot. Add the basil, stir into the pasta and serve at once. Garnish with a few basil leaves, if you like.
