Pork and apple mince with Yorkshire puds
Serves 4
Preparation time 30 minutes
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Asda sunflower oil
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 454g pack Asda pork mince
  • 1 pork or chicken stock cube
  • 2 tsp Asda dried sage
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 large eating apple, cored and diced
  • 1 pack Asda medium frozen Yorkshire puddings
  • 2 tbsp Asda gravy granules for meat
  • Green beans, to serve

Method
1 Preheat the oven to 200C/Gas 6. Heat the oil in a pan and cook the onion until soft. Add the mince and cook, stirring, until it changes colour.

2 Dissolve the stock cube in 200ml boiling water and add to the pan with the sage. Season with pepper. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

3 Add the apple and simmer for another 3 minutes, until it starts to soften but still holds its shape.

4 Put the Yorkshire puddings on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 4 minutes. Stir the gravy granules into the mince.

5 Put the Yorkshires on serving plates and fill with the pork. Serve with green beans.
