• Ingredients for 1 quantity vanilla ice cream, plus:
• 150g Asda Extra Special 68% cocoa solids plain cooking chocolate, broken in squares
• 100g Asda milk chocolate, roughly chopped
• 100g Asda white chocolate, roughly chopped

1 Put milk in a pan, add plain chocolate and heat gently to melt chocolate. Bring almost to the boil and continue from step 2 of basic vanilla ice cream recipe, using chocolate milk.

2 After the second whisking of the half frozen ice cream, stir in the milk and white chocolate and freeze until firm. Allow to soften before serving.
