Ingredients
- 150ml sunflower oil
- 125g soft brown sugar
- 2tbsp Asda clear honey
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 225g wholemeal plain flour
- 1tsp Asda ground cinnamon
- 2tsp baking powder
- 1 eating apple, peeled, cored and diced
- 100g Asda stoned dried dates, chopped
Method
1 Preheat oven to 180C/Gas 4. Line a loaf tin with baking paper. Beat oil, sugar and honey until well mixed. Add the eggs.
2 Sieve the flour, cinnamon and baking powder into the bowl and stir until evenly mixed. Then fold in the diced apple and chopped dates.
3 Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for 1 to 1ΒΌ hours. Leave in the tin for 10 minutes, then cool on a wire rack.
