Ingredients
- Asda Smoked Gammon Joint
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ small onion
- 4tbsp pineapple juice
- 2tbsp honey
- ½tsp Dijon mustard
Method
1 Put the gammon in a pan with the bay leaf and onion. Cover with cold water and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 1 hour 45 minutes. Drain.
2 Preheat the oven to 220C/ 200C Fan/Gas 7. Put the gammon on a board and peel off the rind, leaving as much fat as possible. Use a sharp knife to score the fat in a diamond pattern. Put in a roasting tin. Mix the pineapple juice, honey and mustard and spread over the surface. Cook for 25 minutes. Leave to cool.
