Ingredients
- 175g light soft brown sugar
- 200ml olive oil
- 150g golden syrup or honey
- 150g oats
- 200g Asda 55% Fruit and Nut Muesli
- 100g dried fruit (such as apricots, raisins), chopped
- 40g mixed nuts and seeds chopped (such as sunflower seeds, walnuts, hazelnuts).
Method
1 Preheat oven to 180C/Gas 4. Grease and base-line a 20cm x 30cm rectangular tin.
2 Put sugar, oil and syrup in a pan and heat gently until melted, stirring constantly. Add oats, muesli, fruit and nuts and mix well.
3 Spoon into the tin and flatten with the back of a spoon. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden. Mark into 18 bars and leave to cool in the tin. Store layered between baking paper in an airtight container.
