Turkey breast is available all year round, not just at Christmas! It’s extremely nutritious, low in fat and a good source of zinc.
Oranges add cold-beating vitamin C to this stir fry.

Ingredients
- 2tbsp sunflower oil
- 450g pack Asda Good for you! turkey stir fry
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2.5cm piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1 green chilli, deseeded and fi nely chopped
- 2 red peppers, deseeded and cut into strips
- 350g pack Asda beansprouts
- Juice of 2 oranges
- 4tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1tbsp cornflour
Method
1 Heat the oil in a pan, add the turkey strips and stirfry for 4 minutes. Set aside.
2 Add the garlic, ginger and chilli to the pan and stirfry for 2 minutes. Add the pepper and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Return the turkey to the pan with the beansprouts and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
3 Meanwhile, put orange juice, ketchup, vinegar and cornfl our in a small pan with 150ml water. Heat gently, stirring, until thickened. Stir into the stir-fry and serve at once with steamed rice.
