A traditional Sunday roast

Ingredients
- 1.5kg Asda boneless leg of pork joint
- 1tbsp sunflower oil
Method
1 Take the boneless leg of pork joint out of the fridge and remove the wrapper half an hour before cooking. Dry the skin, then rub with a little oil and salt.
2 Preheat oven to 180C/Gas 4. Put the pork joint in a roasting tin, skin side up. Roast for 2 hours 20 minutes (as a guide, allow 35 minutes per 500g, plus an extra 35 minutes). To test if it’s cooked, insert a skewer into the thickest part and check that the juices run clear. Remove from the oven, cover loosely with foil and leave to rest in a warm place for 20 minutes before carving.
