Ingredients
- 100ml sunflower oil
- 25g light soft brown sugar
- 100g golden syrup
- 250g oats
- 25g sunflower seeds
- 50g mixed nuts
- 25g pumpkin seeds
- 1tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Method
1 Preheat the oven to 180C/Gas 4. Grease a shallow 20cm square baking tin and line with baking paper.
2 Put the oil, sugar and golden syrup into a pan and heat gently until the sugar has melted. Add the other ingredients and mix together well. Tip into the baking tin, level the top and cook for 15 to 18 minutes.
3 Leave to cool for 10 minutes, then mark into 16 squares. Leave to cool completely in the tin. Once it’s cold, turn out, peel away the paper and cut into bars. Store them in an airtight container to keep fresh.
