Savoury starter bean pate
Suitable for vegetarians
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 x 300g cans Asda Cannellini Beans
- 200g pack Asda Full Fat Soft and Creamy Cheese
- 1 lemon
- 3tbsp chopped capers
- 3 spring onions
- Serve with toast
Method
1 Drain and rinse 2 x 300g cans Asda Cannellini Beans and pat dry with kitchen paper. Whizz in a processor until almost smooth with 200g pack Asda Full Fat Soft and Creamy Cheese, grated zest of half a lemon and 2tsp lemon juice.
2 Add 3tbsp drained, chopped capers and 3 spring onions, trimmed and chopped. Chill. Serve with toast.
