Brie and fig salad
Suitable for vegetarians

Ingredients
  • 6 ripe figs
  • 3 ripe pears
  • 72g bag Asda Rocket
  • 100g walnut halves
  • 2 x 190g pack Asda Extra Special Brie
  • 6tbsp single cream
  • 3tbsp white balsamic vinegar

Method
1 Quarter figs. Slice and core the pears. Put a little rocket on eight plates and divide the pear and figs between plates.

2 Dry fry the walnuts, if using, until lightly toasted. Divide between plates.

3 Cut the rind off the Brie and put the cheese in a small pan with the cream. Heat very gently, stirring, until melted – don’t allow it to simmer. Whisk in the vinegar and drizzle over the salads. Serve immediately.
